Marek Glezerman, MD is Professor Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynecology and currently chairman of the Ethics Committee at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. He serves on numerous national and international professional and academic committees and editorial boards and is past-president of the Israel Fertility Association.
Prof. Glezerman is regarded as one of the most senior gynecologists/obstetricians in Israel and has in the past 25 years chaired the departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology at three major health care centers in Israel. He is the founding president of the Israel Society of Gender Medicine, president of the International Society for Gender Medicine and director of the Research Center for Gender Medicine at the Rabin Medical Center. He has written/edited 5 books and published more than 330 scientific articles in professional journals and chapters in obstetric and gynecologic texts. His latest book "Gender Medicine – the Quest for the Obvious" has been published in 2014 in Hebrew. An updated and largely expanded English version has been published in July 2016. The book is currently translated to Russian, Spanish and Korean.
